One of the oldest and most venerable cocktail bars in Da Nang. Once Japanese-owned and still heavily Japanese influenced, with a steadfast commitment to excellence and precision. For those who venture to this esteemed city side venue, you’ll find posh bar front seating, exquisite glassware, and a rarefied experience.

Bar Đồ Yêu (87 Hoàng Văn Thụ)

Perhaps the quirkiest, most bohemian cocktail bar in Da Nang, featuring some of its most inventive cocktails, most made with Vietnamese ingredients and spirits. It’s become a second home for artsy locals, and is easily one of the most unique bars in Central Vietnam.

Black Wolf (161 Tô Hiến Thành)

Opened by a bartender with years of resort experience in Phu Quoc, Black Wolf was the first to bring the bespoke cocktail style beachside, with tipples tailor-made to suit guests’ tastes—be they locals or tourists. 

Eau De Vie (211/77 Nguyen Van Thoai)

This bar is an inspiring labor of love. The owner and his girlfriend are the only staff, living in a small room in the back of the building, which can be hard to find—but is worth the effort. No marketing, it’s all word-of-mouth. With just six seats, they offer warm, friendly service, excellent drinks, and personal attention with loving care. 

Linger (58 Phạm Ngọc Thạch)

From its humble beginnings as a bar cart on the streets of Đà Nẵng, Linger exudes an unpretentious passion for honest craft cocktails. The first truly bespoke place in town, its mostly a loyal local’s place, along with a few in-the-know tourists. 

MAKARA Bar (162a Nguyễn Chí Thanh)

One of the more ambitious concept bars around, MAKARA is the world's first Vietnamese tiki speakeasy—reimagining a tiki bar through Vietnam’s history and culture. Sited in a century-old house, they feature a large menu of locally inspired tropical drinks, along with handcrafted décor showcasing tribal artwork and antiques.

Te Bar (3rd Floor, 39-41 Nguyễn Thái Học)

The most cosmopolitan cocktail bar in Da Nang when it opened. Sophisticated Hanoian operators successfully brought the big city vibe to Central Vietnam, and Te still exerts a major influence on the local cocktail scene. Host for master classes and guest bartenders from around Vietnam and Asia.

The Craftsman (48 Đ. Phan Tứ, Bắc Mỹ An)

Legendary for its great vibe and consistent admixture of great classic cocktails, excellent service, and quality entertainment. The Craftsman is the pioneer in beachside speakeasies, and still going strong.
